Bentley Continental GTC To Debut in New York

One of the biggest debuts coming to next month's New York International Auto Show is sure to be Bentley's public unveiling of the Bentley Continental GTC. The GTC is the droptop version of the familiar Continental GT coupe. With 560 horsepower on tap, the GTC should be more than capable of messing up your expensive hairdo once you put the roof down.

Yes, you do want one.

In conjunction, Bentley is hosting a charity gala at the Javits Center at 6PM on April 13. The event features dinner and cocktails, a private preview of the auto show, and a showcase of soft-top Bentleys from the 1920's to modern-day.

The biggest part of the evening, however, will be the auction of the first Continental GTC to come to North America. Proceeds from the gala and auction will benefit the East Side House Settlement. Tickets for the gala range from $150 (cocktails) to $25,000 (the most expensive 10-person table). All ticket prices include the private auto show preview.
